1 word. AMAZING. We did Mikasa for years and have eaten Sushi all over and never have we even finished 3 rolls. Went here yesterday and we killed 6 rolls and had to stop ourselves. If your wanting fresh delicious flavors of Sushi check them out. I will not eat Sushi anywhere else after here and the chairs are comfortable!!!!!

What, there's actually good sushi in Tracy? Unbelievable. Well it's true, the sushi was good, also tried some of the non sushi dishes and they were good too! If you're trying to find a sushi place to eat at, give this place a try.

Food was great, friendly service. Everything was fresh. Along with the rolls pictured we also had a tempura appetizer, vegetables were fresh with just enough crisp to them. Good job Kengo!

This is our favorite go to place for Sushi in San Joaquin valley! Their sushi is FRESH and the portion is just right. Brought our friends here and they loved it! They said the same thing. We will keep bringing friends and family here who crave for sushi.

Tried eating here since I was passing by for business. Some local workers recommended this place for dinner? I was with some people and we focused on the Sushi entrees. Everything tastes good, this is high quality Japanese food. Sure it's a small place but it makes up for it in top class food.

I went here with 2 of my friends and we had a great experience! I have been on the hunt for a yummy sushi place in Tracy and this is definitely a great option for the price. The service was very quick and attentive. My favorite roll that we had was the pink dragon roll and the gali special roll because i love salmon and tuna. I especially loved the soy sake appetizer which came with 6 huge pieces of salmon in a delicious sauce. The fish was very good quality and just melted in my mouth

On 6/28/24 we decided to have diner here since we didn't have any luck with the other restaurants we wanted. Glad we tried this place out because the food tasted really good. For appetizer we ordered vegetable spring rolls. For main dishes my boyfriend ordered B-2, which is beef teriyaki, tempura and California roll. I ordered B-3, which is salmon teriyaki, gyoza and California roll. Portion size of the dish was good and everything tasted delicious. This place is definitely on my list now for good Japanese spots in the area. Will have to come back here again. Overall, great food and service!

Found this gem of a place one day and we are so happy we did. We love the vibes of this place and the music they play. It's so relaxing. The servers re very attentive and friendly too. The sushi is so good and super well dressed and they do not skimp out on anything with the bento boxes. We've eaten at the restaurant and ordered takeout and the takeout is very conveniently packaged. Would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

I was surprised to see that it was completely empty on a rainy Saturday night in Tracy... so I decided to give Kengo Sushi a try after seeing it packed the last time I saw it. Upon walking in, I immediately sensed that it was going to be a good experience forsure. If you're looking to get decent Japanese food in Tracy... this is one of them. Here's how my experience went thus far: Food: 4/5 Me and my partner got the 4pc shrimp tempura... which happened to be $8. Not bad considering it was inflation, honestly, and the batter of the tempura was very crispy. I found, however, that it contained a little too less shrimp. The very aromatic tea really made up for the thick batter though... that's for sure. We also got the Simba Roll and King Kong Roll... both of which were our favorites. They were so good to the point I had to take them home to leave them as leftovers LOL. Ramen wise, we got the Korean Spicy Ramen and the Shoyu Ramen. I was a bit disappointed considering I wanted actual ramen noodles from scratch, but instant noodles were just as good -- hehe. They included a lot of veggies and toppings alongside pork for my shoyu, which definitely helped with my culinary palette. The spicy ramen's level was just right. Service: 5/5 The waitresses were very friendly upon arrival, and kept on checking on us throughout our meal.... and they gave us quite good recommendations. Atmosphere: 4/5 I was quite fascinated to find that the entrance to the bathroom was identical to going to a cabana or a party. I like the overall design of the restaurant, but it seemed a little bit too dark, and I felt a little squeezed. In addition, I also felt like there could've been more variety, in terms of drinks, and in terms of rolls. Not trying to be critical, but if there was room for improvement, I would've spaced the tables around a little bit bit more. Overall, I had a really good experience, and I can't wait to come here again with my friends.
